Vantage NZ Ltd is a boutique property solutions company based in Wellington. We are dedicated to helping first home buyers purchase a home that is affordable and assisting busy professionals into long-term property investment.
It does this by “thinking outside the square”, providing solid independent advice and thorough and practical strategies that enable clients to achieve their goals in relation to property and mortgage finance.
Vantage NZ Ltd currently has a team of 2 experienced professionals working from Bond Street in central Wellington.
A Brief History
Vantage NZ Ltd was founded in 1997 as a mortgage finance broking service and was soon writing in excess of $100,000,000 of mortgages per year - mainly for professionals and property investors.
Over the years we noticed that a lot of people, although keen to invest in property, never got started. Mostly because they were unsure about aspects of property investment and increasingly were asking us for specialist help : “... Who is a good accountant, lawyer, property manager …? Who should own the property? How do I buy a property with positive income? Does this property stack up? Can you find me a property?”
In response to the need for specialist help for residential property investors, we established a Total Property Investment Service in 2001.
With the recent property boom, rising property values and increasing interest rates, many first home buyers have found it increasingly difficult to find properties they can afford, especially in the areas they would like to live. This has left them with the option of either continuing to rent, or buying a home in a less desirable location often many miles from their work.
That’s where we saw the opportunity to proactively help young professional, first home buyers, by using the knowledge and expertise we had built up in the property investment market. The First Home Property Service was created in 2008.
